Pastor Kayanja's prayer for Museveni, comparisons with King David & the meaning of 30 years

http://watchdog.co.ug/detail.php?id=2227

By Watchdog reporter

This was the prayer by Pastor Robert Kayanja at Kololo independence grounds swearing in ceremony of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni . He emphasized the significance of the number 30, and compared Museveni to King David.

"As we still continue in prayer, I want us to start by clapping our hands because this is not just swearing in as normal as an inauguration. This is very significant to the developing Africa, I want us to clap our hands first of all to God for the victory he has brought to Uganda and Africa at large.

Your Excellency this swearing in and inauguration is different from any other because of the following, number one: the NRM government has been in power for 30 years and its like when king David took over the territory of Israel the people that were disputed because of what was going on he was 30 years. Even our Lord Jesus Christ when he was anointed to save humanity, he was 30 years.  There is a fresh anointing Mr. President and Mama (First Lady-Janet Museveni) that is coming upon this country. There is a fresh anointing not the anointing just to do stuff but things are gonna speed up, like the servant of Abrahim, Eliza he asked God to give him good speed. I prophecy, I speak success in Uganda in every area of our life there will be good success, Mr President thank you for being a God Lover and for God’s People and you love Uganda. You have defended Africa and also United Uganda, but these five years of your life and your leadership in this country are going to be super years of success God is gonna bless our gardens, God is gonna bring life there will be no pestilence in this land there will be unity in this nation. Everything you do will go as God has planned it to be. Because God will do that as it’s done in heaven let it be done in Uganda, go ahead Mr. President, unite East Africa, go ahead, let Uganda rise out of this, for God has chosen you Mr President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to take the shame off African people we’ve been under for years.

The time has come for Uganda to arise, every Ugandan will be successful. By the end of these 5years will not be only changing our brothers and sisters but we will be a wonder in the land and around the world in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen"

#M7SWEARINGIN - This happened on (May/12/2016) at the 6th Inauguration ceremony of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in Kololo independence grounds.

Pastor Robert Kayanja, the leader of Miracle Centre Cathedral in Rubaga, Kampala, has revealed that plans are underway to host over 100,000 youths for a conference which will be addressed by President Museveni.
Kayanja made the remarks on Wednesday during a function at his church where Museveni met the youth of Project 86.
The project unites the youth from all parts of Uganda born from the year 1986, when Museveni seized power, onwards.
The meeting was on the sidelines of the ceremony of flagging off food aid to South Sudan.
Kayanja requested the President to “address and mentor them.”
The man of God further condemned “people who allege that the NRM Government had done nothing for the people of Uganda,” quoting impressive statistics on infrastructural development, mass education and improved economy.
The leader of Project 86 Mr. Cannery Mugume, revealed that Project 86 was not only about President Museveni but about the youth. He said that the youth group has attracted members from all parts of Uganda.
Several youths gave testimony of their achievement through the employment of the skills gained. They saluted the President for the UPE programme which they reported has been a big success.

Human Resource
On his part, President Museveni said the National Resistance Movement (NRM) introduced mass education in order to ensure a big impact on human resource development.
“The NRM Government introduced mass education in order to serve all wananchi. The current challenge is to ensure that there is quality among the masses,” he said. He reiterated that the availability of a trained mass would go a long way towards the development of the country.
He cited India as one of the countries that used a similar approach towards addressing the human resource issue.
President Museveni said that the Government has registered success in three sectors within the UniversalPrimary Education (UPE) programme, namely reading, writing and numeracy.
He revealed that the NRM Government has set the targets of promoting skills, professionalization and intellectualization.
He said that the Government would continue with its goal of building classrooms, laboratories and libraries as part of the measures towards enhancing the needs of wananchi.
The President was happy that the student enrolment today at university level was 140,000 as compared to 5,000 in 1986.
Mr. Museveni expressed his pleasure over the students’ formation of a group that can talk about themselves and their wellbeing. He informed the youths that when NRM took power in 1986, there was a big challenge to the formal economy which had collapsed.
He attributed the collapse to mismanagement and revealed that the first casualty was tax collection. He noted that the shortcoming culminated in a shortage of funds to build roads, schools and other infrastructure. He said that in 1986 the tax collected was only Shs 5 billion. He elaborated that the factories then had closed and people had no employment.
President Museveni told the youths that the NRM’s first task was to re formalize the economy to ensure that all imported goods that entered the country through the borders were well documented.
He revealed that the Government created factories and attracted companies to invest in services such as hotels and several others adding that in 1996 some factories went into operation and the Government managed to increase its revenue collections. He revealed this progress led to the Government being able to fund defense and launch the UPE programme.
He strongly criticized characters in the mass media industry that have been spreading lies about the Government’s achievements. He assured them that NRM would address the situation by countering their lies that are being peddled.
President Museveni informed the youth that he has been trying to establish factories in the country but some people have been obstructing the realization of those assets. He said that this was a danger for Africa.
He urged the youth to defend the establishment and sustenance of factories adding that the developed world in Europe and America is based on factories when Africa is based on manual labour. He said that the current trend of manual labour does not score good results saying that factories were the future of the world.
ICT
He reminded the youths that there were five employment sectors that should be utilized to promote themselves namely commercial agriculture, factories, services, ICT and the Public Service. President Museveni called on the youth to sensitize the people and ensure that they engage in commercial agriculture. He called on all the people living in rural areas to practice commercial farming as anti-dote against household poverty.
He called on the youth and other Ugandans at large to strive to add value to the agricultural products. He gave the example of cotton which has been fetching only US$1 per kilogram produced.
He, however, noted that with the launching of the textile factory at Bugolobi in Kampala, the finished product would fetch up to US$15 per kilogram of cotton which product was hitherto being donated to the external processors.
He reiterated that the processing of our agro-products would boost the national economy through the creation of more employment.
President Museveni pledged a donation of a bus and video cameras to facilitate the youth of Project 86 in their endeavours to generate income.

Pastor Male Lashes Out At Pastor Kayanja Over Besigye Death Prophesy

http://news.ugo.co.ug/pastor-male-lashes-out-at-pastor-kayanja-over-besigye-death-prophesy/

Pastor Moses Solomon Male of the Arising for Christ Ministry has labeled his Lubaga Miracle Center peer, Pastor Robert Kayanja a false prophet.

To arrive at the unflattering tug, Pastor Male revisited the year 2006 prophesy by Pastor Kayanja forecasting the death of one of the then presidential candidates.

Male asserts that since none of the presidential candidates died which Kayanja said would happen, qualifies the Lubaga Miracle Center pastor to be a false prophet.
“He took the gamble to please president Museveni in order to get favors from the Head of State. He knew Dr Besigye was sickly. He then made the false prophesy in the hope that he (Besigye) would not survive the grueling campaigns,” Male pointed out.

Terming Besigye to be a man of nine lives since he has lived to  witness more presidential elections and actually take part in them, Male advised Museveni to learn from Kayanja’s false prophet and then be wary of Born again pastors who pretend to perform miracles for him.

“They (pastors) are blackmailers. Those people are extortionists. They offer prayers for money. They pray for the president to win elections knowing he loves it and would give them money,’ Pastor Male said in his “Life Journey’s program aired on Ssuubi FM.

Pastor Kayanja clarifies prophecy on polls

By Vision Reporter, 8th January , 2006

Pastor Robert Kayanja of Rubaga Miracle Centre has been criticised over his prophesy that Uganda would have five presidential candidates, one would die and another quit the race.

Due to the uproar and consternation that has arisen as a result of the prophecy God gave through me, I have seen it fit to write to you to clarify a few issues that have either been disregarded or overlooked most especially by the press. I hope this will help to clear the air and put the record straight. The Bible says, "The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law" (Deuteronomy 29:29). "Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me (Ezekiel 3:17;18-19). I will begin with the prophecy itself. It came in two phases; the first phase came on Friday December 31, 2004 and the next on Wednesday, January 19, 2005. I saw the year 2006. And there were five persons standing for the presidency, 'one of them would quit the race, and one would die.Whoever would win the elections would win by 61.8%.' The recent reports in the media give the impression that this prophecy was given as recently as December 31, 2005. That was just a reiteration of what God had spoken a year ago. But because of the current volatile political situation, many people are understandably bound to brand it a 'political prophecy'. Sections of the media have accused me of being an agent of one of the presidential candidates who knows what is being planned behind the scenes, and that I am being used to use God as a cover-up for any impending danger that may befall any of the presidential candidates. I would like to point out a few facts that most people have overlooked, either through misinformation, ignorance of the facts or political bias. lPresident Museveni: By the time the prophecy was given December 31, 2004 and January 19, 2005, none of the five presidential candidates had been nominated to represent their parties in the elections. Even the cartoon in New Vision March 30, 2005 did not depict any of the present presidential candidates. The Kisanja Bill was not passed until August 18, 2005. The president only signed it into effect on September 26, 2005.
·  Dr. Besigye was still in exile in South Africa. According to the report in New Vision of October 24, 2005, FDC met in Krugersdorp in South Africa and advised Besigye to return to register as a voter before the deadline of October 28, 2005. He returned to Uganda on October 26, 2005. He was elected FDC's presidential candidate on October 29, 2005. l
·  Mrs. Miria Obote was not in the picture as a presidential candidate until after the demise of her husband on October 10, 2005. She was voted UPC president on November 28, 2005. l Ssebaana Kizito: Dr. Paul Semogerere was still President General of DP. Many were in contention for the post. Ssebaana was nominated presidential candidate on November 27, 2005. l
·  Dr. Abed Bwanika was known on the political scene only after nomination. Previously he was known only in the born-again circles where he is a pastor of one of the churches. With the above facts in mind, it is absurd that anyone would imagine that this prophecy is politically motivated as many have suggested. Probably, the reason there is such uproar is because of the prevailing political situation that is full of suspicion, accusations and counter accusations. However, the prophecy was given when it was unknown who would stand as a presidential candidate today. There are other important facts to consider about the prophecy: The prophecy did not give the names of the candidates that would stand for president. That was not revealed. It merely stated that they would be five. It is worth noting that over 100 people picked up nomination forms. When the nominations were over, six candidates had been nominated: President Museveni for NRM, Dr. Besigye for FDC, Ssebaana for DP, Miria Obote for UPC and Dr. Bwanika as an independent. On December 28, 2005, Sebaggala stepped down for Ssebaana, leaving only five candidates just as God had said. From the above points, it is quite obvious that only God could have been so accurate as to know what was going to happen in the nation, and to tell His people in advance in order to prepare them a year ago. My fellow Ugandans, after the events that happened on Besigye's arrest on December 14, 2005, I called upon our church to fast and pray for Uganda, sensing we were heading in a tumultuous direction. When the presidential nominations revealed we had 18 aspirants, I thought we had averted the prophecy and then the wake up call came. Based on the fact that what God showed us on December 31, 2004 is happening before our very eyes, with five candidates now standing, having heard from God before and having seen Him confirm His Word in places like Panama, Kenya, USA, S. Korea and Nigeria, it would be grossly irresponsible on my part not to remind the people of what God said a year ago. God knows the detail, we only prophesy in part (1 Corinthians, 13:9). I am sorry I could not be silent just to be olwatta omwami nalumanya (I knew what would kill the gentleman before hand). About Death, let me share with you a personal story. One of my twin daughters was diagnosed with a deadly cancerous brain tumor. After the doctor informed us that she had only three months to live, we were devastated. We presented the matter to God and we did not vent our frustration on the doctors. We employed every mechanism available to avert the prediction, but the doctor who informed us of this was neither a fortune-teller nor a prophet of doom. He only revealed what we could not see and we humbly used that to save our daughter's life. I know the meaning of the word death and I would not use it lightly on anybody. I know what it means to the rest of the family. It would be wrong, having come this close to the fulfillment of this prophecy as we know, to only tell the good and easy part and leave out the hard ones in an attempt not to offend the people. If every person would pray for their candidate's protection. We would have covered security for each candidate. Our transition into the multiparty system has not started well. We are in collision with the prophecy, considering all that has transpired so far. God is serious about matters concerning this country. Instead of criticising the messenger and branding him a prophet of doom, we should pray that any evil that would have befallen this country be averted by the mercy of God. Some prophecies can be averted through prayer. For example, when the prophet Isaiah told King Hezekiah, "Thus saith the Lord, set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live' (Isaiah, 38:1), Hezekiah turned to the wall and cried to God, and God changed the prophecy (Isaiah, 38:4-5). When the prophet Jonah told the city of Nineveh that God was going to overthrow it (Jonah, 3:4), the inhabitants averted that prophecy through repentance, prayer and fasting in sackcloth and ashes (Jonah 3:5-10). "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles, 7:14). "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance" (Psalm 33:12). The prophetic ministry is one of the most misunderstood, even in the Church of Jesus Christ, and yet it is part of the five ministry offices called the five-fold ministry gifts that Jesus gave to men in Ephesians 4:11-16, to help strengthen and mature His body. According to 1Corinthians 14:3, prophecy is given to men to edification, exhortation, and comfort. However, the prophetic office also warns of impending danger (Ezekiel, 3:17-19). All peace loving Ugandans should pray for God's mercy on our country that evil shall not prevail, but righteousness, and that we shall never go back to where we came from. Since November 14 till the end of February 2006, our church is in fasting and praying for the nation. Please join us. I encourage our presidential candidates to realise that they not only need the people's votes, but also God to back them up, for no authority exists without God's permission, and the existing authorities have been put there by God (Romans 13:1). I claim not to be a prophet nor a special person but just a servant of God. May God bless us all. For God and my country
