Late Rosemary Nankabirwa |
My comment
The print and electronic media in Uganda is awash with the sad death of a catholic NTV news anchor Rosemary Nankabirwa . She died of cancer. The media has been reporting on how the dead news anchor trusted on Jesus for healing . You may be fooled into believing that Rosemary was a born again Christian. The truth is that Rosemary trusted a false catholic Jesus who is master minded and crafted by Lucifer himself. This Jesus can not take any one , including the POPE to heaven. Dear friends , dying in the catholic church is a ticket to hell whether you die of cancer or an accident or any other terrible death you can think of , you will not get any sympathy from God. Whether they carry your body in any expensive aircraft , whether you are buried in an expensive coffin, even if they mourn your death for ten years; all that is pure nonsense as long you are not born again. Flee all the deceptions of religions such as Catholicism, Anglicanism , Islam etc and get born again. Flee the catholic satanic system NOW because it leads to hell. When you die , they is no second chance for getting born again . The catholic church has been mandated by Lucifer to escort you until the doors of hell. Stop being afraid of your friends, parents etc Make a personal decision to leave now. When you die , you die alone and you will be accountable alone. AMEN
Message to the born again saints
For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:( 1 Peter 1: 24
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. (Colossians 3:1-2)
Message to the unsaved( those still trapped in religion, witchcraft etc)
6 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.( John 3:16-19)
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.( 1 John 5:11-12)MUST READ:

Former English news anchor Rosemary Nankabirwa has breathed her last, according to reports from NTV.
The reports indicate that Nankabirwa's family has confirmed the former NTV news anchor has been put off life support.
The news leaves friends and well wishers heartbroken after a hopeful Nankabirwa said last week she had faith she would heal in Jesus' name.
Her mother who was always by her bedside had been made strong by her daughter's resolve and she too had hope Nankabirwa would make it.
Nankabirwa had been flown to Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi Saturday afternoon as thousands of well-wishers responded to a car wash fundraising drive at Serena Hotel Kampala to raise over sh100m for her treatment.
Nankabirwa, who was battling adrenocortical carcinoma cancer, had been hospitalised at Cancer institute and Heart institute at Mulago hospital before she was taken to Nairobi.
May her soul rest in peace...

At around 5:40pm, a Kampala executive aviation chattered aircraft carrying the remains of Rosemary landed at Entebbe International airport.
The mood is sombre, faces showing internal pain, even the wind has no strength as the body is loaded off the plane, no family member on the aircraft.
In a distance, a Uganda Funeral services ambulance waits to load the body and take it to its next destination.
Brother to Nankabirwa, Mr Ronald Bisereko dressed in black stripped shirt and navy blue jeans thanks the Kampala Executive Aviation staff for delivering her body.
Meanwhile Nankabirwa's mother is on the 9pm flight and will arrive later and join the rest of the family at their home to mourn the deceased.
Mr Lucky Kwesiga, an operations officer with Kampala Executive Aviation says that the flight left Wilson Airport in Nairobi at 4:40pm and Landed at Entebbe at 5:40pm, no one was on the flight except Nankabirwa's remains.

In Summary
Eulogised. Mourners tell of the pain Nankabirwa bore during her sickness
Kampala.
Kampala.
“Forgive and learn to love one another. When Jesus says yes, nobody can say no,” these were some of Rosemary Nankabirwa’s last words as told by her best friend, Rhoda Nabankema who was at her bedside at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.
At the requiem mass held at Christ-the King Church in Kampala, for the repose of the soul of the pioneer NTV news anchor, hundreds of mourners drowned in tears and prayer, eulogising Nankabirwa.
Media personalities, government, family members, medics, entrepreneurs and friends filled the Church to capacity, with some sitting outside in the marquees. A sombre mood engulfed the church when the pall bearers took the casket containing the remains of Nankabirwa into the church.
The parish priest at Christ the King Church, Msgr Gerald Kalumba, described Nankabirwa as a prayerful person who never missed mass and sometimes taking readings. “She was fairly young but she perhaps achieved much. Such moments are difficult to manage because they come abruptly,” Msgr Kalumba said as an eerie of silence gripped the church.

Such moments are difficult to manage because they come abruptly,” Msgr Kalumba said as an eerie of silence gripped the church.
He added: “A priest from here met her in London and was surprised to see her attend mass everyday, a young lady among old people. There is something from this young lady that you, young people should emulate. That to be young doesn’t mean to be stubborn and hopeless.” “During the ended period of lent, she was in pain. When I visited her she was smiling but she was in pain. She died on the Sunday of divine mercy. She died with dignity.”
Dr Jane Fualal Odubu, a senior consultant surgeon at Mulago hospital, said she started managing Nankabirwa’s condition when it was advanced, at level four. Dr Odubu gave a lengthy narration of how she was alerted by Life Link Hospital about Ms Nankabirwa’s sickness in January.
“I knew Rosemary, but when I saw her brought for examination she was not the girl I knew. She was overweight, in pain and could not even lie on the examination couch,” Dr Odubu noted.
She told the congregation that the tissue removed from Ms Nankabirwa was taken to Makerere University and other laboratories in the US and South Africa. The results came back showing that Nankabirwa had adrenocortical carcinoma cancer, a cancer of the adrenal gland which had reached the stage four. As silence engulfed everybody in church, Dr Odubu said: “I took two days without telling the mother.”
The medic narrated that after an operation that removed an enlarged adrenal tissue, it was discovered that the cancer had spread to the lungs and the liver and was pushing other body organs away. “I called Dr Walusansa of Mulago Cancer Institute and asked that she be transferred there. Dr Walusansa said they could only do palliative care. I told him we have to do something, or at least be seen to do something,” Dr Odubu recalled.
She adds: “I was called to go and see my patient later…I found her, she tried to smile, but the smile could not come, she tried, she tried, it failed..........The liver was shutting down. She requested that we keep a low profile.”
Dr Odubu said doctors at Mulago hospital did their best to diagnose a disease that had remained a mystery for doctors in the UK who Nankabirwa told her had taken long treating her back pain.
Nankabirwa’s mother, Ms Rebacca Kibirige, was inconsolable and took a moment before she could utter a word. She thanked her husband Mr Aloysius Brian Kabunga who she said has stood by her side as they took care of Nankabirwa.
“We have been moving on the journey of treating Rosemary with the father. She needed love from both of us to be able to fight the hiden enemy cancer. I thank you all for the support because all religions prayed for us,” Ms Kibirige said.
“I think cancer means pain.

It gives someone depression and you have to deal with it. We did our best and God has passed the final verdict. I thank the Lord for giving me a chance to look after my daughter,” she added.
On behalf of her former employers, the NTV human resource manager, Mr Solomon Muhirwe, said Saturday’s fundraising drive for Nankabirwa’s treatment fetched Shs110million. Out of which Shs50million has been deposited on a bank account as part of a cancer fund. The remaining Shs60m covered all costs at the Aga Khan Hospital, Lee Funeral Home and to cover the burial arrangements.

Rebecca Kibirige, mother of former TV news anchor Rose Mary Nankabirwa, 35, who is at Mulago cancer institute and heart Institute fighting for her life against the debilitating disease, narrates how her daughter got to know she had cancer and diabetes.
Studies in London
When Rosemary told me that she wanted to develop her career, I promised her that even if she had not got a scholarship, I was going to pay for her tuition till she finishes. And I have been paying for her tuition to see that she finishes her Master degree in Journalism and communication at the University of London.
But in September last year, when she was in her last semester, she started feeling backache and weak, within a month, she had put on weight. She visited the Hospital but they could not tell what was wrong. She even stopped working at the hospital where she was part timing. When she continued complaining, I advised her to come back home to check on me and also to find out what was disturbing her because doctors in London had failed to find out.
Before she came back, she told me that she had put on weight and she looked ugly and her feet were big, I told her not to mind about her looks because she is my daughter, I also asked her whether she was eating junk and a lot of McDonald but she said no. I arranged for her ticket and made sure she gets a direct flight because I realized she was weak. She came back to Uganda on December 23, last year.
Cancer
Immediately we went to Mulago Hospital for tests, Doctors checked her left adrenal gland and her right adrenal gland, but found out that her left adrenal had a tumour. They carried out a successful operation and removed it, but when they checked the adrenal gland, it was found out that she had adrenocortical carcinoma, a kind of cancer that affects the adrenal glands. They also later found out that she had diabetes.
Current situation
When she was diagnosed, I thought she would go back to London and get treatment from that side because as a student she had a medical insurance but the situation worsened. When she became so weak, we decided to come at the Cancer Institute, I never wanted to tell anyone that she was sick, even her former colleagues got to know late. I did not want to deal with journalists. The first journalist to see her was the late Bbaale Francis. He entered her room and they laughed and shared a lot.
One thing I know about her, she is strong and brave. She does not like visitors who come to see her and cry. To her, they do not have faith. Whenever she wakes up in the morning, she says, “Thank you Jesus. I am still alive.” It is because of her strength that I am also strong. Even if she is really weak now, I am not going to cry, I will cry when I need too. My daughter is still very prayerful. She keeps on telling us that Jesus will heal her.
Though we are at the heart institute, her heart is fine; we are here because the cancer institute has no Intensive Care Unit.
My daughter wanted to settle after her studies. She wanted a staunch catholic man. She used to tell me that most men who used to approach her, just wanted to ride on her fame. She really wanted a Christian man.
Message
I am requesting all our friends to visit her when she gets better. Right now her immunity is low, she can contract any disease. Even if you sneeze from a distance, she can pick it. I am not chasing away people.
People are so mean and insensitive, a caretaker who was next to us at the cancer institute, managed to take her picture when she in a wheel chair and posted it on facebook. That picture broke my heart because some people just want to see others at their worst.
Though I am strong, I still need Christians to encourage me and pray for me.Related stories

She closed her eyes and said: “save me Jesus.” Those were Rosemary Nankabirwa’s last words as she lost the battle to cancer on her hospital bed on Sunday afternoon.
“She first closed her eyes, and after 10 minutes, she gained some energy and said Jesus save me. Immediately, she breathed her last,” said Catherine Nayiga, Nankabirwa’s sister.
Nayiga told New Vision that even when she was in pain, Nankabirwa believed that Jesus was going to save her. When I read for her the letter from a 5-year-old girl a pupil of Rohana Academy who sent her sh20,000 she had got from a ‘rat’ after removing her tooth, she became strong and promised me that she was going to fight on, I have no doubt, my sister is in heaven,” she said.
At a press conference at Serena Hotel, family members thanked the Government and friends for the love they showed them when their sister was battling cancer.
“I thank the Government, corporate companies, different media houses and all individuals who have helped us to see that Rose’s life is saved. We have received money from people all over the country and those abroad,” said Ronald Bisereko, a brother.
Bisereko also apologized on behalf of the family for not alerting the public know when they found out that she had cancer.
“So many people have been asking us why we let them know about Rose’s health at the last hour. It was not our wish. Sometimes you don’t have control over certain things. We apologize but we are grateful for the love,” he said.
NTV raised sh110m and part of it will go to the cancer institute.
Nankabirwa’s body will be flown in today (Monday) evening, then a requiem mass at Christ the King Church tomorrow at 2:00pm. A vigil will be held at her home in Kanyanya. Burial will be on Wednesday at Kinoni Masaka at 2:00pm
